RE: ? about the cen engine
I am FED UP with the Genesis engine. It is great for bashing but as soon as you get it on a track, the thing stalls, sputters and just can't handle the open / close sequence on the throttle in a track. It cna go for a little more than one lap and then it starts to stall and shuts down.
It is not a matter of set up, I have spent hours upon hours changin the stting on the needles, then sent it to my LHS (CEN distributors), then even bought a new carb (original CEN) thinking mine would be damaged.
This is the second Genesis motor I've had (the other one blew the main ball bearing and was replaced by CEN's warranty) and neither could handle track use.
I was thinking of putting on a .26 Sportworks (the one the LST has) or a WASP .32. Anything that can stay running anf not shut down every time I hit the cirve after the long staightaway would be betteer than mine.
Any recommendations as to what motor I should put on there?
