This covering the gear hole has peeked my interest (especially since I just stripped the gear)...what are other peoples thoughts on this...to me it makes sense...it would probably make sense to fashion some sort of cover in teh front that would stop pebbles/gravel/whatever from making it way to the gear area...thoughts, experience???
