I have a used 2300 that is one of the old Italian made versions. I have had no problems from it, except getting a smooth midrange with the three-blade prop. It runs like a top with an 18x6 MAS classic. After fiddling with it for a few weekends I have finally got it tuned to have a good midrange with the 3-blade prop. It certainly puts out the power, 8200 rpm on the 18x6 and 7400 on the 3-blade.
