It probably is. According to earlier threads, Aeroworks recommended leaving the full wing span if you use a larger gas engine to keep the wing loading light. However, if you use a 4-stroke or large 2-cycle, then removing one bay is the way to go. I am going to use the RCS 140, remove one bay and add a wing tube application. Hope to come out about 9 lbs. or less.
