Default RE: Looking for a good Gas trainer

ORIGINAL: snowdude8126

I am looking for a good gas trainer.. I have had a few electric airplanes and ended up crashing both of them. I am not familiar with what parts i need with gas so any help would be more than appreciated. I already have a decent remote so i wouldnt want a RTF, but somethin easy to put together because i am a modeler
The Tower Hobbies Trainer 40 ARF is about $65 and is pretty complete except for engine and radio equipment.

If you want to build a kit, the SIG LT-40 is highly recommended. RCKen has a great build thread, in this forum, documenting this kit from opening the box to complete.

The kit is $92 and you have to buy glue, covering, tools, etc. The kit is very complete as far as hardware.
