I agree with the coupling on KE, etc,my "Do" does the same but it has got my stick time improved.
Re Harriers : Should I be mixing elevator / spoileron to put all the lift on to the motor power and elevator?.Will the extra air from the prop if I were using a big FS,give the control surfaces a quicker responce at slow speed?

Sorry for all the questions but there is no one else in my club attempting 3D style flying.This is a bad thing because I have no experts to ask.It is also a good thing, because when I pull off a 3D manouver everyone watching thinks I,m the muts nutts!!!! LOL!
