I'd recheck to make sure you have the right CG location. The Magic shouldn't need that much to balance; unless you're using a different range then what's recommended.

If it is right I'd suggest you try a heavy hub. It puts weight right on the tip of the engine and doesnt' affect its operation. I've used them on planes that needed a lot of nose weight.
