Default RE: 42% Composite 260

Silversurfer

This is an out of topic question, but now that you mentioned that you know Bill Hempel and if Im not mistaken you fly UAV for the military, I want to know if you were one of his students. Im in the NAVY and about a year out to tranfer to a new command so I was wondering if you could give me the name of the "school" and any additional info so that way I can apply for it? And of course Im only assuming here

ORIGINAL: Silversurfer

Shawn,

I never saw the plugs or the final design, but it was really coincidental that one company that wasn't even talking about a big 260 suddenly came out with one shortly after Tom premiered his design. I had been spending some time with Bill Hemple in July last year and talking about it with him, and he was thinking that a release at the end of last year or the beginning of this one was right in line. The final design had not been fully completed at that time.

I would be very interested in seeing the two designs side by side. 40 to 42 % is not much different, and if all the angles were in the right places you'r know for sure.
