Certainly torque might cause it, but it probably isn't that noticable. It might be a setup problem, on most computer transmitters you have to adjust the left amount of throw and the right amount of throw, independently. (I learned this a hard way, I adjusted the throw on one side thinking I was lowering it and moved both horns in a notch. It did a nice left turn, but the right turn flipped it upside down about 20 feet off the ground. It was a bit of a surprise! It was also the last flight of that plane)
