Problem Solved!
Hi there, folks...
Take a look at the email I received from GP Support:
"Thank you for your recent e-mail.
We have reviewed your problem description and regret the problems you have been experiencing. There are two things that may resolve your the problem you are having that I would like you to try.
First, try removing the Hardware Vertex Processing in the RealFlight.ini file. To do this:
1. Browse your hard drive for the Program Files folder and open it.
2. Open the RealFlight folder
3. Look for the RealFlight.ini file. This is a configuration settings file that looks like a spiral note book with a yellow gear in front.
4. Open the RealFlight.ini file and look for the Following information
[Direct3D]
Adapter=0
Device=0
Mode=2
RefreshRate=1
RunInWindow=1
WindowMaximized=Yes
WindowLocation=10, 10, 620, 400
UseHardwareVertexProcesing=Yes
5. Change UseHardwareVertexProcesing=Yes to =No
6. Save the changes and try RealFlight again.
Secondly, if the above solution does not affect a change please try updating your sound card drivers to a newer version. Lack of support for the version of DirectX that is installed can cause program freezes and lockups. Your video card drivers are good and I would not worry about them. Try getting a bit better sound card drivers, if possible, from your hardware manufacturer."
Matter of fact, these guys were so fast that I almost forgot my post ;-)
For me, the first procedure worked well (now I know why the Vertex Processing was there...)
