I will second the suggestion to put the Freedom on the shelf and buy a $30 Aero Ace and have some fun, successful flights. Also download the free computer model flight simulator called FMS and get a USB game controller and learn how to fly a 3 channel plane with that. I don't know if there is a simulation of the Freedom for FMS, but there is a good one for the T-Hawk that will fly similarly. That will prepare you to fly the Freedom.
