if its a rattling nose it may be the dog bones there should be little rubber washers in the drive gears if your using normal dog bones and not cvd two in each i think it is,i had that rattling nose and that is what it was the dog bones rattling.

thanks that's the dang screw I forgot, but lucky for me the diff was fine I checked the clutch shoes and they're fine the springs are ok. I just put it back together and I can still hear the squeling noise, it sounds like its coming from motor/ flywheel/ clutch bell area but it could be the spur gear area. My low and high speed pick up are pretty good but I'm afraid I might damage something if I keep running it. I only ran it for about 2 mins a second a go to further try and dissect the problem. The mesh looks pretty good then again I thought it was good this morning and a stripped a spur gear in under 2 hours. my motor was so far off I think I could put it back to gether and use the spur gear for a day or two but it's not worth it I got plenty of spares I tried a 49 tooth, will that be ok with my 13t clutch bell? does anyone have any ideas about noise.
