Default RE: Official HPI MT2 Thread

Ya I know the guys you speak of!!! I hope you are not half as ignorant as they are..If its the same guys I am thinking of...These guys had the goofy matching jump suits and coats and thought there crap didnt stink!!! I accidently nailed the one guy in the back with my Revo...Its an awkward jump during a turn and if you hit it just right you can make it but I obviously misjudged it and like I said accidently hit him. So as soon as I was done marshalling the next race I went over to him, apologized and made sure he knew I didnt mean to do it and he just sat there and gave me a goofy look and muttered something in french to his buddys and walked away from me!!! I wish I could have heard him because I french was my first language and had I of heard what he exactly said I probably wouold have opened up a can of whoop @$$ on him!!! He must not of been feeling well cause he was all of 5 foot nothing and I am 6-4 270lbs and I am a roughneck on an oil rig...So I dont take alot of crap from people...LOL.
By the way thanks for the links on the diff...I know how to set up a diff but when I built the truck they didnt include quite enough shims for my taste and I went ahead and built it anyways...I obviously should have ordered more shims but I wanted to play with my new toy.LOL

Oh but I must say one thing about those guys!!! They had a little kid with them probably 8 or 9 years old...He ran a 1/8th buggy. He did his qualifiers and got himself into the "C" main which I thought was pretty good considering the company he was in. Anyways the main started and sure enough the little guy beat out every one else and won it!!! So he bumped p to the "B" main. I dont know how he made out in that one, but I was really impressed with the little guy. Nice to see a completely inexperienced and up coming racer win one.
