RE: CG Chipmunk mods
Two things about LiPos I've heard, but can't confirm:
If you crash, LiPos can be damaged, and become immediately unusable. And the damage may not be evident, so. . .
LiPos don't cycle as many times as NiCads or NiMH.
Lots of people at our club fly with LiPos, and they seem unconcerned with either of these.
I won't put up an argument in favor of bellcranks. But they worked for me.
