I too am having the same problem with this Hitec Reciever, i put it on my foamie and no response, i cant figure out why, i have a 9CHP and it is set to PPM, but receiver does not resposnd, plug battery in and the servo moves from the electric contact and that is it, if anybody can help please do so, and no it is not the crystal because i put the crystal back on my other plane with an Electron 6 and it works like a charm, i do not think i will ever buy another Hitec 05S....Ivan! quick question, must it be a HITEC Crystal, cause i am using a Futaba crystal,(72mz) dont know if this may be the key here! Also crystal says dual conversion, if i must use a single conversion crystal since this is a single conversion receiver who makes the crystal?
