Default RE: H9 sukhoi?

Hey Jack,

I know the early runs of the planes had problems, I can't comment on later ones though. Basically the problem is with the phenolic and spar webbing not being glues in. The phenolic isn't as big of a deal as the others. Mine had absolutely no glue in and the ribs were starting to crack due to twist in the wing. If you peel back the covering on the bottom side of the wing, you see the spar webbing will have little to no glue on it. If you cut the sheeting back above the phenolic, you most likely find the same thing. It's a few hours work, but I don't hesitate to put mine into a blender anymore. I would call Horizon to see if they can identify if your plane might have the problem or not. If they can't help you, pick it up by the wing tips, if you see a excessive amount of flex.....open it up and reglue. It's amazing how much flex will disappear when the joints are properly glued.
