Default RE: spun a dogbone

ORIGINAL: charlie_gre

One of my rear wheel dogbones on the Himoto Syclone is now a bow, i managed to take it off and use a hammer to get it straight again. Now i noticed that the rear center shaft is bowing as well, i think i need something stronger for these damn dog bones. Does anyone know of a substitute, HPI SAVAGE or MT2???!!?
I also had 4 bent dogbones. U dont need hammer to staighten it. If it is bent in the middle you can use hands to straighten it! This metal is so soft that it easil bends. I think i will try hardening it by heating on my cooker and cooling in water then. It should be much harder, but too much force will break it instead of bending...wondering what is worse
