This time of year, we have a 'growing' problem - our field is lucky to get cut once a week, and between cuts easily grows to 5+ inches. For my planes (33%+) - the longer grass is no problem and gives me the ol' green brakes, help slow down, but it also results in green prop tips (on my 102" QQ Yak most commonly). For the other guys in the club, once the grass is longer than 3" or so, the smaller wheeled planes have a lot of trouble on take off - landing not a 'problem', they just STOP, and nose over
