I'm sure this one on the himoto could not be bent by hand, i had to use a hammer!! Dont think hardening it with the cooker is a good idea, at least when it bends you can get it straight again, if it breaks then you know what that means.

Anyway does anyone know of a compatible dogbone thats stronger?? I was thinking Hpi MT2 or the savage but i'm not sure!


I also had 4 bent dogbones. U dont need hammer to staighten it. If it is bent in the middle you can use hands to straighten it! This metal is so soft that it easil bends. I think i will try hardening it by heating on my cooker and cooling in water then. It should be much harder, but too much force will break it instead of bending...wondering what is worse
