Has anyone used the Air Alert low voltage and lost model alarm made by Hobbico?
I picked one up to use as a lost model alarm and the instructions says that it uses power from a 4.8 Rx battery and most of my setups use a 3s lipo (11.1 volt).
The question is, if I use a 3s lipo and the esc as the voltage regulator, plug this into an extra channel (maybe gear or flap) and just flip a switch, would it work?
Or do I have to use a seperate battery for the Rx and motor?
Any info here will help alot. BTW, I sent an e-mail to Hobbico today and I hope I can get a response on Monday, but was hoping to install it today. Thanks for any help. BG
