Default RE: DA 50r Problem!!! Desert Aircraft doesn't answer me!

If your engine dies when you open the throttle you are too lean richen it an 1/8 of a turn at a time till you get good transion from idle.

Set the high throttle to max RPM then back it off about 200 RPM firs then set the low end as described above.

Good luck, well if you fallow my instructions you wont need luck will you

I am not an engine xpert but I did stay at a Holliday Inn last night[>:]
I am watching you Larry

I already sent two email for Desert Aircraft and I didn't have answer

I am placing the email that I sent here to them.

Hello, i am a modeler here in brazil, i bought a DA-50R motor serial number DA0694, i am having problems with it´s operation.

What happens is that if i get a stable idle, i don't get a top end , and if i get a top end i don't get the idle (it shakes to bad, like to rich).

I am using gasoline 100 octanas and oil Motul 800 as lubricant in the proportion of 40:1, i am adjusting it as described in the user's manual.

Making it short, i can not get a soft idle, only when i close the low neddle to 1 turn , and that way i cant have a trothle response, because it dies when i push the stick up.

I already opened the carburetor and search for dirt or similar thing but the carburetor is clean and all perfect.

Could you give me some orientation, i can not send this motor for E.U.A because I reside in São Paulo -Brazil.

Thanks very much.
