3 Pole Digital vs Analog Coreless Servo
I'm building a new Pattern plane for next season and have been trying to figure out the data on the new 3 pole digital servos. The deadband on the both the cheap 3 pole digital servos and the coreless digital servos is 1 usec while the deadband on an expensive coreless analog servo is 4 usec. The update frequency of the digital servo is 300 hz while the update frequency of the analog is 50 hz. Doesn't this mean that the digital servo with the 3 pole motor is going to center better and have more holding power than an expensive coreless analog servo? What advantage does a coreless digital have over a 3 pole digital?
(Specs are from Futaba 9402 analog and Hitec 5475hb digital servos) Couldn't find any info on JR servos.
Thanks
