Hmmm.. I've been quietly following this (and other) AT400 threads for the last year. FWIW, I have one of the first (#5 shipped, I think) WV AT400's and it suffered a low throttle flameout on the first flight, for unknown reasons per ECU data (but not a bubble in the fuel system). Seriously damaged my new KingCat in the subsequent off-field landing. I have not flown a jet since, for various reasons (2005 was not a good jet year for me).
I'm gonna call John tomorrow to get mine updated. One more chance to see if the problems are resolved. The 400 is awesome, but you gotta have confidence (i.e. reliability in the product and company ) to enjoy flying your $10K toy - not a lot of fun flying high and close in (at a field with a 200' max altitude restriction) while worrying about your next dead-stick.
