go fast/handling + monster truck = a train wreck
a monster truck due to design isn't going to handle like a porsche at high speeds... you may want to check out the truggy stuff that's coming out..
as far as the t-maxx you have.. what I did with mine was set aside 50 or 100 bucks a week for hop-ups, I started with arms, and simple stuff, I'd pick up parts and exchange them on the truck.. eventually I ended up with my hopped up t-maxx that I wanted and also enough parts to put a stock t-maxx back together (that didn't really matter much) anyhow, the project was a bit easier to swallow doing a handful of stuff at a time..
