There is no specific amount of spacers that will work thats why you should go to the link in my past post. the adj nut should not be tightened all the way, it in fron od it one side a thread should be showing and on another two threads should be showing, read the r40 manual also. I know how to do it but it's too difficult to explain the spacing to you without acutally looking at the clutch myaelf sorry man. use the links.
