How about this for a low knife edge pass!
Looking at the photo in post #10 where the plane is hovering (not the "knife edge" photo), I wondered how critical everyone gets when they're judging (casually... not in competition) a hover. How "straight up" does a plane have to be before YOU call it a hover? At the angle in this photo, if the plane were to actually go into a torque roll, it would really be more of a vortex shape rather than spinning in place. So, in your opinion should the wing lift be used at all for a hover? If yes, at what point does it stop being something like a harrier and more like a hover?
Just curious on what everyone thinks.
