Hi Guys, everyone who criticises safety oof sebastiano's close in hovering here is slightly paranoid. I will remind you guys that this is s champion's model equipped with the latest state of the art gear. Even if one servo breaks it will still be able to prophang in a controlled manner because there is more than one servo controlling every surface.Think about how many things thar could go wrong with your car or the plane you fly on to go abroad - maybe the steering conrtrols would break. How about the brakes? You could even have a spark in the fuel tank completely by accident. Oh no because of this i think i will ban driving and flyng. And guess what? The steering wheel does not break on your car, and you do not get blasted twenty feet away by your fuel tank evey time you get in your car. Also, about the prop coming loose and impailing someone in the head. Has it ever been realised that when a prop sheds, it shoots of to the side and slightly forwards?The Katana's nose is higher than head height so nobody would get hit. One point that has been raised is that heli pilots have been hovering in front of themselves and other people for years! A friend of mine calcuated that the loads on the bolts that held each of his blades to the main head was approximately 1.5 tons!!!!! Now that would chop through anything, but we have never heard of such an incident happenning.
