Default RE: Nexstar with flaperons

I would not add flaperons - tip stall is going to happen at slow speeds/landing, and that means low attitude without any chance to recover. I have a Nexstar with the flap option. Makes a good slow flying trainer way up high, but landings are harder because the plane just floats and floats. It climbs even at 1/4 throttle with stock OS 46 FX motor, so be prepared to trim her for nose down attitude with you use the flap option. I followed the directions in the manual and the only problem I see is trying to cover the section of aileron/flap are you cut, makes it hard to do with it already installed. The flaps also make the plane look neat.
