I have a Avistar 40 Trainer, w/os40LA that I wrecked the wing on.
My son wanted something to do , and repaired the wing.
Everything looks good except when I went to put the Aileron back on the wing it was 3/8" longer then the wing. This is the Right Half.
A worker at the Hobby Shop said that it wouldn't effect the plane that much, should have no problems flying it. He is a Senior Flyer, mostly of 1/4 Scale now.
Has any one had this experiance, and how did it work out ?
He told me to just cut the Aileron down to fit the wing.
