Mark, I really don't know. My Sukhoi was 26lbs and the pull out was pretty good, nothing like a DA in the same plane. Now where talking 3 more pounds,two wings and flying wires.(lots of drag)

What little bit I did fly, It seemed to have the power. It went staight up after rotation. 3 to 4 minutes in to the flight my engine started sputtering and I had to land.

will it pull out of a hover is yet to be seen. As soon as I get my ignition back, I'll find out.

I've seen the H-9 Ultimates at 42 to 44lbs pull out (slowly) with a DA150. much slower than a 42 lb mono plane, but they all looked like they had good control at ther slower speeds. If my BME will (slowly) pull my Ultimate out of a hover, I can live with that. Just have to be a little more careful not to get in trouble.

BTW my 100 will turn a NX 26x10 6100 to 6300 rpms on the ground. A DA will turn a 27 to 28 inch prop. My 100 would never swing them.
