You don't need lipos or anything expensive. All you need is a GWS EP 12x6 prop, the 7-cell "optional" battery pack (or hell, I use a 6 or 7-cell 1000 mah Firebird pack, it's heavier but it works/lasts much better IMO) , and if you want more power, replace the stock crapper 370 motor with your favorite 18th scale truck motor. I use a Team Orion Big Block Mini-t motor. With that setup, I can haul around a ~3 oz digi camera and still fly up as high as I want, even in a slight 2-3mph breeze.
