This sound somewhat like the trouble I went through, with my MVVS/AJC .49...

...That is, until I used the fuel that you brought with you... Everything became OK with that fuel.
That .49 held a steady full throttle with the same 7 mm #3216 carburettor that you have on your .61DFS.

Are you sure the fuel formulation you are using, is exactly the same as the one you had with you then?
