Would it be possible to modify the boat and make it less of a toy? More than likely. For $75 or less? Sorry, I really doubt it, unless you happen to have a few spare parts laying around. Would it be able to compete with other 'fast' boats? Depends a lot on what you mean by 'fast', but I sort of doubt it. Ought to be fun though!
