I hate myself for buying my heli spontaneously, doing no research, and then trying to fly it the same way with absolutely no experience. I destroyed the stock blades, then messed up the carbon fiber's I bought, and then snapped my boom; all along with a few sets of skids. Oh, and I never came close to having a bit of control over it.
Now I read all of this stuff and it makes me sick, I don't even have the time to read everything I see here. Has anyone thought about making a single post or better yet a sticky thread with all of the information deemed useful for newbies? There is so much I need to do to my heli to get it flying and then so much I need to learn to keep it that way; assuming I can ever even learn how to fly it. It's a bit overwhelming honestly. I do see that some people are catching on, that's great!
My friend bought the CP2 and i'm a bit pissed at that as well, he spent about $100 less than me right out of the box, and he has a much better heli so it seems! So now on top of everything I need to get my heli back up (basically the whole kit w/o electronics) I need to upgrade my bell hiller, battery(s), etc! I don't even know what a bell hiller is! I believe it to be the part of the heli that the right-side stick controls, but even with that I feel so overwhelmed and lost in information.
