Default RE: sig lt 40

Not true. The LT40 ARF's that are presently being manufactured come from the factory with a bolt on wing, and have been for a while now. The kit version is still built with a rubber band wing, though.
ORIGINAL: Scar

Does anyone know for sure if the Sig LT 40 is a bolt on wing or a rubber band wing? I have heard both and seen both in pics and discussion.
Thanks!
As designed, the wing is mounted with rubber bands. If you've seen a bolt-on, it's a conversion.

I don't recommend converting to bolts. If you do so, look out for clearance between the threaded blocks and the aileron links. Also, reinforce the wing where you put the bolts.

Best wishes,
