I suspect this is aimed at me because I've mentioned it a couple of times before in similar threads. I also mentioned in the other threads that I adapted some information I found on the running in of diesel engines to a ringed engine because similar materials are used, steel liners and cast iron pistons/rings. It made sense to me so I figured it was worthwhile passing on. If nothing else, I learned a few things about cast iron.
