Default Hovering a plane

Spinning in a hover is a Torque roll.
Yes its supposed to happen.
Yes it is difficult to control while spinning. It takes a lot of practice to get the orientation and inputs down.

If you want to just hover, (not spin) tilt the nose slightly forward. This usually helps in most planes.

What plane are you doing this with?
