Default RE: Cost of importing small parts from US to UK

I never use UPS or FEdex. USPS and Fedex take longer in most cases and I need to be there to accept the package.

I always ask the US companies to use USPS Global Priority. It is much cheaper and I have never been asked to pay any customs. Here in Australia we don't have Customs Duty as such. All goods attract a GST (Goods and Services Tax) of 10%. However the customs do not collect if it is under A$100. And I have never had a package not deliverd or damaged.

Get Todd to use USPS Global priority and wear the risk yourself.
