Default Cheap and simple brake

I've installed this on my Reaction 44 jet as AMA requires brakes. Thought I'd share the idea....
I've got the nose wheel scrubber brake installed. Seems to work very well! I used a Hitec HS-81 (36oz) to activate it. I added a small extension spring to keep the servo from being stalled at full braking action. It is .032 diameter wire I wrapped around a 5/32" mandrel in my vise. I would highly recommend this spring to anyone using a similar setup. The aluminum "flapper" was fabricated from some 1/2" U channel I had. No friction material is used. The axle is 1/16 music wire. If she pulls left during braking, I'll just add some right steering mix.

Thats it for now....
