yes it will work,but according to the tech notes.. futaba wants you to run nicads only.... I use the hitec hs 645mg..... like this one...http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...&I=LXUZ89&P=ML... I use these exclusively in my trucks and buggies and have never had a single issue with them... They are about the same price as the futaba.
