Thanks for the advice. I do need to practice the final approach with this model and it's good to hear that it is well behaved at that slow approach speed. I was nervous of it as it was the first couple of flights and I had no idea of low speed behavior. I have been flying my Kyosho Brieitling Cap lately and that does drop a wing on approach so with the weight and wing loading of this Extra I thought it might do the same.

I need to practice some more

Most of the repairs have been done tonight Just down to recovering over the patch ups as best as I can now. I also will change the control rods on the ailerons before I attempt flying again. I need to order up a new pitts muffler the new shinny one fitted to the model took a bash and broke both pipes []

Hopefully all will be ready by the weekend for another try out.
