Problems with Gyro Setup
Hi Guys,
I have a Zoom Heading hold gyro (same as the Align one) But i have trouble getting it to hold its heading. Its definantly in HH Mode as when i move the stick it doesnt go straight back to center. It seeks slowly to center...
But after setting it up with the arm at 90 and the servo centered with the blades at 0 pitch, Switch it into HH Mode, try to take off and it slowly keeps turning one way... I have managed to get it to almost hold in one direction but i cheated by sliding the servo up and down the boom untill it was as close as i could get it....
Any ideas on how i can get this sorted?? Its rather annoying having it turn itself... I'm tempted to go buy a 401 but my wallet isnt looking good right at the moment.
Also i have noticed with the slider on the tail pitch, that if you slide it all the way back to the boom the blades have HEAPS of pitch. but if i slide it all the way towards the blades they have not as much pitch. And i think this is the direction it needs more pitch! (to counter the rotor's) Or is this how its supposed to be?
Cheers,
