I have maybe a dozen that aren't in planes. I enjoy all aspects of the hobby: building, flying, and collecting. If anyone gave me grief about the money I've spent, I tell them it's cheaper than a couple visits to a therapist, and I've got something to show for it when it's all said and done. When I go flying, it cost me me a few bucks in fuel (OK, unless I crash, which aint too often, thank God). This hobby is very satisfying, and relatively cheap in comparison to others. If it brings you joy, and doesn't interfere with paying the bills, go for it!
