i was told there was more power than the canister and the only way was with the tune pipe which was the length off a baseball bat i can get that muffler in by putting it on after cowl is on .
plus it was $200 cheaper
Yes you do get slighlty more power on the stock muffler but it power you don't really need. My ultimate is 7.6KG's and it pulls out of a hover fine with a slimline pitts muffler. The can should be give more power than the slimline but a little less than the stock muffler. I just like to keep my planes neat and the stock muffler ain't neat in my eyes. Just my 2c worth.
