I am intrigued... How do you measure the tining. Is it at he start of the magnets passing under the center of the coil, middle (between the two magnets), or end? I'm curious becuse I have a Quadra 35 points ign engine. I also have a spare coil from a CDI engine, and I was wondering if I coul just put the coil on, remove the flywheel key and adjust the timing, thereby eliminating the points.
