Default RE: Official HPI MT2 Thread

Hey And_des, nice truck. But your revo, is that the stock engine, header and exhaust...? Was it the 3.3 and you simply replaced the engine with a bigger displacement sized engine block...? Looks really nice.

What did you think about the overal design of the truck and performance. BTW with mine, just a heads up that may wish to check just incase. When I was breaking in my revo there was a little yellow wire that connects from the EZ start system to the base of the engine, just like an earth wire but yellow. BE VERY carefull with this as the angle of the wire on mine was facing and touching the flywheel and on my forth breaking tank the wire wsa cut in two by the flywheel. here is a pic. Please look in my gallery as I cant post a pic on here for soome reason...? But just have a look at yours and make sure that there wire is facing away from the flywheel.

Have fun mate.

if you ear some clicks there is something wrong, its suppose to slide like you say, to test it i hold the spur gear put the truck on a nice gripping surface and push the truck down and forward if its set properly you should see the slipper slide a bit. ( i don't know if you understand what i'm trying to say here)

BTW four shims on the diff suonds about right
