No right out of the box I've replace the engine with the RB Concept TM323 REVO kit and got rid of the electric ignition system (now i got the pull start) , I read more bad things than good things about all Traxxas engines so thats why i replace it right away (personal choice). Only went thought one tank using the heat cycle method for break in and it when flawlessly had to preheat to engine the pitch is so tight. The Revo engineering is amazing hope its run as good as it looks and i will be happy with it.
