Zooland and gtx slotcar

thanks guys for your help.
I have an extra motor mount and support rod. i am to lazy to un solder and re solder
the tm wires to replace it with the same POS set up. I took an old piece of landing skid
with the groove on the bottom and slid a piece of rod into it. At the other end i took a
piece of fuel line and ca'd it to the stub that was left where it originaly broke. It may only
last a little while. the wind here usally dies down later in the afternoon. in some was I
thinking, Do I really need it? My tail boom is loose where it inserts into the main frame.
I lke it that way because it does give on rough landings. just have to be sure it is square
before each flight.
slotcar I like the idea of a bead, Ive been using a piece of foam from a beer coozie on the bottom end.
