Thanks aeajr, I did a lot of reading last night and have educated myself a bit more on the electronics (those fancy new LiPo batteries are intriguing, based on some of the reported flight times.) I had read your previous posts on the Magpie and actually had that model at the top of my list. I chose the slow stick because I thought I might eventually be able to fly it at my house. I live in a neighborhood with 1 acre lots and maybe 12X40' trees/acre. Do you think either of these models would be appropriate to fly at home once I know what I am doing? (my neighbors are all pretty cool, and will tolerate me flying over their back yards if the noise is minimal, and plane/house contact is nil.)
