Hi Mark, I'm putting a charge on my 260 now and getting ready to head to the field. I bought my kit (All American Kit Cutters) off of Ebay. The fiberglass cowl and aluminum landing gear came with the kit. I found the wheel pants on Ebay also. The plans have instructions for a built up cowl and wheel pants as well. The wing is a typical built up balsa construction. The plans show you how to build a jig for it. The vertical stab and horizontal stab were sheeted faom core, and you have a choice of either built up rudder and elevators or solid balsa rudder and elevator. I chose the built up version. I also purchased a Hanger 9 Extra 260 canopy and used it instead of the kit supplied canopy. It was a little to "bubbley" in my oppinion. The only changes I made to slightly lighten the airplane was to use 3/32 balsa sheeting instead of 1/8 sheets for the top hatch and turtle deck. All up weight (dry) is a little under 15 lbs. I didn't do a build thread on it but probably should have. Mine is the 80" span version and I think you still can get the kit version somewhere but I can't remember where. A little research might turn up the info though. If you build it, the way the hatch mounts may give you a migraine and I did mine a little different to alleviate the pain!
